Kosice IT Valley and IPC Presov Deepen Partnership, Sign Memorandum

Kosice, 9 January (TASR) - An association called Kosice IT Valley and Innovation Partnership Centre (IPC) Presov signed a memorandum of cooperation on Friday, further deepening their partnership, TASR was told by Valentin Humenansky from IPC. Both organisations have been cooperating for a long time to support innovation, networking among stakeholders and the development of an innovative environment in eastern Slovakia. The common priority of Kosice IT Valley and IPC is to contribute to the development of the regional innovation ecosystem, strengthen research and development capacities and support the creation and growth of innovative companies and startups. The emphasis will be placed primarily on networking and support activities for all ecosystem partakers, including the public, academic, private and third sectors. "We're very much looking forward to this cooperation, because we know Kosice IT Valley well and we're honoured to jointly develop our activities for the benefit of the region. Specifically, our cooperation will involve sharing data, infrastructure and resources, organising educational events, workshops and seminars, as well as jointly implementing projects that will directly support the development of the region," said IPC director Jozef Simko. am/df
