Four bankrupt companies were engaged in the wholesale and retail trade, the same number in administrative and support services. Two companies were permitted to undergo restructuring in November. A company called Schetelig CE based in Vlcany in Sala district (Nitra region) had the biggest turnover and number of employees (20). Last year, it reported sales of almost €3.4 million, whereas in the pre-pandemic year of 2020 the figure was as high as €6.2 million. It's the Slovak subsidiary of well-known Finnish family company Schetelig, said Markova.
