House: MPs Conclude Session, Many Issues Adjourned until Next One

Bratislava, 12 December (TASR) - MPs concluded the 43rd parliamentary session with a vote on Friday morning.
The session had begun on 25 November. There were still many undisputed points left on its agenda that will be shifted to the next regular session, due to start on 27 January.
At the latest session MPs didn't get to the vetoed law on the so-called Covid amnesties, which was returned to Parliament by President Peter Pellegrini. It should have originally been discussed in June. Parliament also didn't deal with another piece of vetoed legislation, namely an amendment to the Gambling Act.
Several MPs' proposals weren't discussed, either. These included, for example, an amendment to the parliamentary rules of procedure. Opposition proposals to dismiss some ministers and a no-confidence motion in the government as a whole have been left unaddressed as well. Their adjournment was approved by MPs earlier this week.
