Pavel Hanus to Become New General Director of Duslo Sala Chemicals Company

Sala, 1 December (TASR) - Pavel Hanus will become a new general director of Duslo Sala chemicals company, replacing Peter Blaha, who is leaving Agrofert group after more than 17 years, Agrofert group spokesman Pavel Hermansky has informed TASR. At the same time, Hanus will be appointed as vice-chair of Duslo's board of directors. Emil Macho, who has been working for the group as its manager for the agricultural segment, will also become the new vice-chairman of the company's board of directors. "Petr Cingr remains the chairman of the company's board of directors," added Hermansky. Duslo Sala's new general director has gained experience from several projects in Slovakia and Europe. "I believe that the personnel changes will strengthen Duslo and contribute to developing it further. The appointment of Emil Macho, a respected manager and expert in the field of agriculture, reflects our respect for farmers who use our fertilizers and, thanks to them, contribute towards securing food security for the country," stated Cingr. Hanus has held significant managerial posts within the Agrofert group. "Among others, he's served as the trade director of LAT Nitrogen, a manufacturer of fertilizers and other nitrogen products in Austria and France and a distributor of fertilizers in Europe. He is also the CEO of GreenChem Holding, a European manufacturer and distributor of AdBlue," said Hermansky. In addition to his new post as vice-chair of Duslo's board of directors for external relations, Macho is the general director of an agricultural company called Agropodnik Trnava. "He's been working for the Agrofert group since 2009. He was also the chairman of the Slovak Agricultural and Food Chamber (SPPK) between 2018-2024. He's currently its vice-chair and at the same time vice-president of the Association of Employers' Unions (AZZZ)," added Hermansky. ko/df
