Bratislava, 20 November (TASR) - The opposition Progressive Slovakia (PS) party on Thursday warned that Juraj Miskov, former advisor to Vice-chair for the Recovery Plan and a Knowledge-based economy Peter Kmec, who resigned recently following controversies surrounding research and development grant calls, is the president of the National Innovation and Technology Center (NITC) association, which became the owner of the bankrupt Voderady outlet just three weeks after the former was set up.
According to PS, the association was founded on September 4 of this year by three founders, with one of them being the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Recovery Plan and a Knowledge-based Economy led by Kmec. Another founding member is non-profit organisation SlovakiaTech, with Juraj Miskov's daughter onboard.
PS MP Michal Truban said that it was as early as on 25 September when NITC was recorded in the Land Registry as the owner of the bankrupt Voderady outlet centre. According to their plans, the outlet centre is supposed to be turned into an innovation centre, added Truban.
"So, it was just three weeks after being founded when the association - without providing any official statement about where it acquired some money - became the owner of the bankrupt Voderady centre," stressed Truban.
