Foreign Affairs Ministry: No Slovaks Reported Injured in Czech Rail Crash

Bratislava, 20 November (TASR) - No Slovaks are said to be among the injured following a collision between an express train and a regional train near the city of Ceske Budejovice in the Czech Republic on Thursday, the Foreign Affairs Ministry's communications department confirmed for TASR on the same day, adding that the ministry is monitoring the situation.
"Our embassy in Prague is in contact with the relevant Czech authorities and, based on currently available information, there are no Slovak nationals among the injured," stated the communications department.
The collision between the two trains occurred on the railway line between the town of Zliv and the village of Divcice on Thursday morning. Dozens of people were injured.
