Slovakia and Qatar to Abolish Visa Requirements for Each Other's Diplomats

Bratislava, 14 November (TASR) - A draft agreement between Slovakia and Qatar on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports has been submitted by the Interior Ministry for interdepartmental review, TASR reported on Friday. The agreement aims to strengthen and deepen cooperation between the two countries and to facilitate travel for their nationals holding valid diplomatic, special and service passports. "Under the provisions of the agreement, these people will be able to enter, transit, stay in and leave the territory of the other contracting party for a period not exceeding 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa," explained the ministry. jrg/df
