Bratislava, 6 November (TASR) - The Supreme Audit Office (NKU) welcomes several systemic changes presented by the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Ministry in the amendment to the Act on Social Enterprises, with NKU also making several comments, one of which concerns relief for disabled people, which the ministry will also incorporate into the amendment, said Labour Minister Erik Tomas (Voice-SD) at a press conference on Thursday, with NKU head Lubomir Andrassy in attendance.

Bratislava, 6 November (TASR) – The opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party will submit proposals to Parliament aimed at tackling the rising crime rate and petty theft, proposing a return to the so-called 'Horalky clause' [a 'three strikes and you're out' principle - ed.note], SaS representatives told a press conference on Thursday, adding that the party also wants to introduce a new punishment of re-education.

Bratislava, 6 November (TASR) - The Smer-SD party claims that the Christian Democrats (KDH) have chosen Progressive Slovakia (PS) as its partner in promoting conservative values and that Smer-SD has "taken note" of this, the party said in response to statements made by Christian Democrats leader Milan Majersky, who has repeatedly ruled out future cooperation with Smer-SD.
