Spisska Stara Ves, November 3 (TASR) - Director of Pieniny National Park Administration (PIENAP) in eastern Slovakia Vladimir Klc has confirmed for TASR that he's leaving office, adding that he doesn't know the reasons for his dismissal and that the Environment Ministry didn't mention them in the dismissal decree. "As of today, I'm leaving the post of PIENAP Administration director. No reasons were given. I had a meeting with head of the Nature and Landscape Protection section Kamil Kyselj, who gave me the decree dismissing me but didn't give a reason, as he didn't know what it is," said Klc, who has been in office since 2011. He doesn't yet know who will replace him, although he confirmed that some names have already been mentioned to him. He stated that he's always tried to do his job apolitically in the interests of nature conservation. The ex-director fears that after his departure, plans that have been put on hold for years for the sake of nature conservation will start to be implemented. PIENAP Administration currently employs 19 people. Klc is unhappy about leaving the team that he's been a part of since 2002. "I've left half of my professional life there, but we know how my fellow directors ended up who were presented with such working conditions that they packed up and left. However, I can't confirm now that it will be like this with me, I don't want to get ahead of events, we'll see what happens," said Klc. am/df
