Polish President to Be Received by Pellegrini, Rasi and Fico on Wednesday

Warsaw, 3 November (TASR-correspondent) - Polish President Karol Nawrocki is scheduled to pay an official visit to Slovakia on Wednesday (5 November), TASR's Warsaw-based correspondent has reported referring to information from the office of the Polish president. The programme will begin at 10 a.m. with a welcome in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace in Bratislava, where Nawrocki will be received by Slovak head of state Peter Pellegrini. After the official welcome and a joint photograph, the Polish president will sign the commemorative book in the Great Hall of the Palace. Subsequently, the presidents will hold a bilateral meeting, followed by discussions between the delegations. In the afternoon, Nawrocki will visit Bratislava Castle, where he will be received by Parliamentary Chair Richard Rasi (Voice-SD) at 1.30 p.m. After an introductory welcome and signing of the memorial book, a bilateral meeting will take place. The programme of the visit will continue at 2.25 p.m. with a working meeting with Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) at the Government Office. The visit will end at 3.40 p.m. with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Freedom Gate Memorial, which will be attended by the presidents of Poland and Slovakia. am/df
