Interior Ministry Registers Zoroslav Kollar's 'Right to Truth' Party

Bratislava, 3 November (TASR) - The Interior Ministry on Monday registered a new political party called 'Right to Truth', founded by lawyer and businessman Zoroslav Kollar. The party is already listed in the register of political parties published on the Interior Ministry's website. Party representatives submitted the signatures necessary for registration on 10 October. Party founders are required to collect at least 10,000 signatures, submit them to the ministry, and apply for registration. If all the legal conditions are met, the Interior Ministry registers the party. Kollar's party handed over 20,000 signatures from the public. According to the party register, there are currently 55 active political parties or movements in Slovakia, while 111 are in the process of dissolution. A party ceases to exist on the day on which the ministry removes it from the register. ko/df
