Interior Ministry: V4 Meeting Strengthens Cooperation on Migration and Asylum

Bratislava, 27 October (TASR) - Representatives of the Visegrad Four (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) met in Bratislava on 22-23 October 2025 as part of the Migration Crisis Response Mechanism platform, which aims to strengthen practical cooperation in the field of asylum and migration, promote information sharing and develop joint projects between member countries, TASR was told by the Interior Ministry Office's press department on Monday. The discussions focused on topical issues, in particular the situation concerning refugees from Ukraine and the implementation of the new Pact on Asylum and Migration. The main session was followed by an expert workshop organised by the Interior Ministry's Migration Office on the prevention of extremism and radicalisation. Its aim was to discuss practical recommendations for social workers and other care professions working with asylum seekers. am/df
