Bratislava, 24 October (TASR) - Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) didn't have to support the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions, leader of the coalition Slovak National Party (SNS) Andrej Danko has stated, criticising that the premier for once again agreeing to European Union sanctions against Russia. "I want to say emphatically that SNS will always call on the prime minister not to support anti-Russian sanctions packages, even in situations like yesterday," he said. "On behalf of SNS, I say that we don't want Russian or American tanks here, we are interested in Slovakia. Neither a Russian nor an American will care about Slovaks. We have to help ourselves because we are lumped into that group, as if we want the return of international aid here again. But we are returning to a time of dictatorship - a dictatorship towards us today is being carried out by the Western states," added the SNS chairman. am/df
