MFA: Blanar to Travel to Luxembourg for EU Foreign Affairs Council Meeting

Bratislava, 19 October (TASR) - Slovakia's chief diplomat Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) is due to travel to Luxembourg on Sunday, Foreign and European Affairs Ministry's communications department told TASR on the same day, adding that he's to attend a meeting of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) on Monday (20 October). EU foreign ministers will discuss current foreign policy issues. The main topics of the meeting will be the war in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East and relations with the countries of the Indo-Pacific region. "The discussion will also focus on improving coordination between EU institutions and member states in the field of foreign policy, which the ministers will discuss during an informal breakfast," the ministry added. am
