Foreign Affairs Minister Blanar to Leave for Working Visit to Latvia

Bratislava, 1 October (TASR) - Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) will travel to Latvia for a working visit from Thursday until Friday (2-3 October) where he will also meet with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braze in Riga, the ministry's communications department informed TASR on Wednesday. "The talks will focus on deepening mutual political dialogue and expanding bilateral cooperation. The partners will also exchange views on current issues of European and foreign policy, including security and defence, migration, energy security and other areas of common interest," the ministry explained. As part of his agenda, Blanar will meet Slovak soldiers serving in NATO's Multinational Brigade in the military base near the town of Adazi. jrg/mcs
