Sutaj Estok: Kotlar Should Devote His Verve to Reviewing Pandemic Management

Bratislava, 25 August (TASR) - Government Proxy for Investigating the Management of the COVID-19 Pandemic Peter Kotlar should devote his vigour mainly to what his post was established to, Interior Minister and Voice-SD leader Matus Sutaj Estok stated on Monday, adding that on that point, unfortunately, he hasn't seen a single line from Mr Kotlar yet. "His passion for the cause is good, he just needs to focus not on the medical part, he's already done that. Now he has to devote as much energy as he has in him to examining the effectiveness of the pandemic management. ... I expect that as a politician. The law enforcement bodies expect this, for which this may also be an incentive to act," said the minister. Kotlar ruled out stepping down from his post for now, he told a press conference on Monday, adding that he doesn't consider the Slovak Academy of Sciences' (SAV) analysis of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to be authoritative because the SAV is not a certified workplace.
