Woman Charged with Murder in Case of Ruzinov Tragedy with Two Dead Children

Bratislava, 21 August (TASR) - A woman has been charged with murder and general endangerment in the case of Tuesday's (19 August) tragedy in Bratislava's borough of Ruzinov in which two children died, TASR has learnt from statements of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Bratislava and the Regional Court in Bratislava. A prosecutor of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Bratislava filed a motion to remand the accused into custody. Spokesman for the Regional Court in Bratislava Pavol Adamciak confirmed for TASR that the accused will be questioned at Bratislava I Municipal Court at 5 p.m. on Thursday. A fire broke out in an apartment in Bratislava's borough of Ruzinov on Tuesday. Emergency crews treated two adults at the scene, but were unable to help two children. Police on the scene detained a woman who had reportedly first killed her two children and then set fire to the flat. am/df
