Government Office to Welcome Venice Commission on NGO Amendment on Thursday

Bratislava, 20 August (TASR) - The Government Office is due to welcome on Thursday (21 August) representatives of the Venice Commission in connection with the amendment to the law on non-profit organisations and the forthcoming value changes to the Slovak Constitution, TASR was told by the Government Office's press department on Wednesday. The office noted that in the last six months, Slovakia had been visited by several delegations of international organisations of which the Slovak Republic is a member. It stressed that full cooperation and communication transparency had always been provided by the Slovak Republic in order to provide all the explanations requested by the organisations. That approach was appreciated, according to the office, and helped to dispel the doubts and misinterpretations on which these missions were initiated. am
