Bratislava, 20 August (TASR) – Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice–SD) is currently reviewing the analysis of mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 conducted by the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), and he intends to present a report on the analysis at the next government session, TASR learnt on Wednesday. "I'm currently reviewing the report along with my colleagues. I expect it to be duly submitted to the next government session. The government has assigned me the task of presenting the report," Sasko told journalists before a session of the government. He announced that after the findings are presented to government officials, the public will also be informed of the results. At the end of July, the Slovak Academy of Sciences reported that it had completed the analysis of COVID-19 vaccines. It expressed its readiness to share the results once the Health Ministry set a date. Sasko had requested the testing of vaccine samples by the Academy back in April, following a government mandate. Experts were tasked with producing a comprehensive report, including a quantitative analysis for the presence of DNA and other substances in selected retention batches of vaccines used in the Slovak population. The report also includes an assessment of the impact of these substances on the human body. mf/df
