Government to Deal with Reimbursement of Costs to Municipalities

Bratislava, 20 August (TASR) - At its session on Wednesday, the government will discuss, inter alia, the reimbursement of costs incurred by municipalities in connection with the states of emergency. Earmarking more than €1.3 million, the package will also include funds for municipalities affected by high winds in July this year. The government is also expected to approve €100,000 intended as one-off financial aid for residents of municipalities affected by the states of emergency. The ministers are also set to discuss a strategy for the management of state buildings. For this purpose, the Interior Ministry has proposed setting up a central coordinating body. Other items on the agenda include proposed amendments to the Act on prison sentence execution, the Act on the Constitutional Court, the Act on intelligent systems in road transport, as well as the draft Act on land use registry. jrg
