Taraba: Environment Ministry Will Start Putting Slovak Flags on Strategic Dams

Bratislava, 9 August (TASR) - The Environment Ministry is going to mount Slovak flags on strategic water works in the coming months, Minister Tomas Taraba (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) posted on a social network on Saturday, adding that the dams will include Liptovska Mara, Orava, Cunovo, Gabcikovo, Nimnica and others, which are also tourist destinations and are managed by the state. "Everywhere in the world it is a matter of course that national flags fly on all important cultural as well as infrastructural projects because it is a reflection of the nation's success. Only in Slovakia it is as if a problem and not commonplace," wrote Taraba. am
