Bratislava, 30 July (TASR) - The Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV) has completed its analysis of mRNA vaccines against COVID-19, SAV spokesperson Monika Tinakova has confirmed for TASR, adding that the academy is ready to inform the public about the results as soon as the Health Ministry, as the ordering party, sets a date. "The Slovak Academy of Sciences carried out the Health Ministry's task to prepare the analysis by July 31, 2025. We're ready to inform the public about its results as soon as the ordering party sets the date," said Tinakova. Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice-SD) asked SAV to test samples of mRNA vaccines against coronavirus in April after being tasked by the government to do so. SAV experts were supposed to prepare a comprehensive report on a quantitative analysis for the presence of DNA and other substances in selected retention batches of vaccines used against COVID-19 in Slovakia. At the same time, they were supposed to draw up an expert opinion on the impact of substances present in the human body. The analysis is supposed to have cost some €350,000. ko/df
