Soldier Found Dead Outside Home in Kuchyna

Bratislava, 25 July (TASR) – A lifeless body was discovered in front of a house in the village of Kuchyna (Bratislava region) on Friday, the police confirmed on the same day. The Slovak armed forces told TASR that the deceased was a professional soldier, adding that the incident occurred outside of active duty. "Today, shortly after 10:00 a.m., police officers from the Malacky District Directorate were dispatched to investigate a report about a body found without signs of life in the village of Kuchyna, located in front of a family home. When the report was checked, it was determined that the deceased was male. Procedural actions are currently underway at the scene," said Bratislava region police spokesperson Katarina Bartosova. Armed forces spokesperson Stefan Zemanovic stated that due to the sensitive nature of the case, no further details would be provided. mf/df
