Fire Damages Former Agricultural Site in Dunajska Streda, Arson Suspected

Dunajska Streda/Bratislava, 24 July (TASR) – Firefighters responded shortly after midnight to a blaze at the premises of a former agricultural cooperative in the Male Blahovo district of Dunajska Streda (Trnava region), TASR learnt on Thursday. The estimated damage amounts to €50,000. According to firefighters, the fire was deliberately set. The Regional Directorate of the Firefighter and Emergency Corps in Trnava reported the incident on social media. Professional firefighters from Dunajska Streda, Samorin, and Galanta were deployed, along with volunteer units from the villages of Jahodna, Tomasikovo, Trstice, and Vozokany. „The fire was extinguished. During the process, the roof of the structure had to be dismantled,” the firefighters stated. mf
