SHMU: Thunderstorms May Occur in Most of Slovakia for Rest of Day

Bratislava, 21 July (TASR) - Thunderstorms may occur in most of Slovakia for the rest of the day, prompting the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) to issue alerts on its website. The first-level alert is in place for all the regions except Kosice. In Presov region, the warning applies only to Poprad district. In Bratislava and Trnava regions and the districts of Komarno (Nitra region) and Nitra the alert is valid until 10 p.m. In the remaining parts of the affected area it is in place until midnight. am
