Two Road Sections in Kosice Region Flooded and Impassable

Kosice, July 14 (TASR) - A section of Palackeho Street in Kosice and the road between the villages of Kostolany nad Hornadom and Druzstevna pri Hornade (both Kosice region) are flooded and impassable due to heavy rain, Kosice Regional Police spokeswoman Lenka Ivanova told TASR on Monday. The police are urging the public to carefully consider the need to travel via the affected road sections and to use alternative routes if possible. "We're also asking people to exercise increased caution on the roads, to monitor the traffic situation and to respect the instructions of the police officers present in these critical areas," the spokeswoman added. lin/df
