Bratislava, 8 July (TASR) - Labour offices are helping municipalities hit by the storm in the east of Slovakia and informing them about a one-off financial subsidy to support humanitarian aid and about projects they can use to help with repairing the aftermath of the damage, the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) said on Tuesday, adding that its workers are ready to help not only with writing applications but also offer psychological help and support. "We'll provide humanitarian aid to households, towns and villages affected by the storm in eastern Slovakia. Workers from the labour offices in the districts affected by the storm immediately went to the field," said Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Minister Erik Tomas (Voice-SD). According to him, the subsidy is intended to help residents and municipalities that suddenly found themselves in a crisis life situation, for example, during natural events such as a strong storm or high winds. Employees of labour offices will help fill in the application form, directly in the municipality or town. They will then be assessed by the Labour Ministry. Individuals can receive a one-off subsidy of a maximum of €1,500 per household. am
