Kosice: Police Warn of Impassable Roads Due to Fallen Trees in Region

Kosice, 7 July (TASR) - Intense storms in the Kosice region caused several roads to become impassable due to fallen trees on the roads, Kosice Regional Police spokeswoman Lenka Ivanova confirmed to TASR on Monday. „Members of the Fire and Rescue Corps (Hazz) are currently removing trees, members of the Police Corps are directing traffic. We urge people to reconsider the necessity of their travel. In case they need to go on the roads, we warn them to exercise extra caution,“ Ivanova stated.
