Media: Beganyi Becomes New Acting Director of Slovak Television

Bratislava, 3 July (TASR) - Peter Beganyi, who has been working at public-service broadcaster Slovak Television and Radio (STVR) since May 2025 as an advisor to STVR director general Martina Flasikova, has become the new acting director of Slovak Television as of 3 July, TASR was told by STVR PR manager Dominika Hovorkova Ertelova on Thursday. "I'm very glad that I've managed to convince a professional from the outside who will be a real asset for Slovak Television. Peter Beganyi will be able to apply his independent view and extensive experience in audiovisual production to the environment of a public institution, which I consider to be crucial in a time of changes and new challenges," said Flasikova. The STVR head pointed out that this is a temporary assignment, the aim of which is to carry out a personnel audit of the television part of STVR, to evaluate the professional potential and organisational set-up.
