Bratislava, 2 July (TASR) - The government is scheduled to hold its next meeting on Friday, 4 July in Bratislava and it will deal with the automotive industry, Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) said on Wednesday at a briefing following the away-from-home session of the cabinet in Puchov (Trencin region), adding that the government will hold four more away-from-home meetings before the end of the year, the first of which will be in August in Trnava region. "The next cabinet session will be on Friday in Bratislava, which will be devoted to the automotive industry. Vice-premier and Economy Minister [Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD)] will be a kind of guarantor of this government meeting," said Fico. According to the premier, the cabinet has to 'go through' the problems of the Slovak car industry, because the agreement with the United States is expected to be signed by 9 July. "I don't know about the tariffs, I'm not that optimistic, but it could have a huge impact on car production in Slovakia and related production. There is a whole chain of supply companies that supply car manufacturers," he added. am/mcs
