Police Investigating Case of Woman Who Claims to Have Killed Her Child

Spisska Bela, 25 June (TASR) - The police are intensively dealing with the tragedy that happened on Tuesday (June 24) in the district of Kezmarok (Presov region). A woman came to one of the police departments in the Kezmarok district, claiming that she had killed her minor child, whose body was allegedly found in her car, the Presov Regional Police Directorate has reported on a social network. "The police immediately started to intensively deal with the case. The case was taken over by a regional investigator, who is currently carrying out initial actions. The suspect was detained and criminal prosecution was launched for the particularly serious crime of murder," the police said, adding that they can't provide further information at the moment due to the extremely sensitive character of the case. ko/mcs
