HaZZ: Timely Response of Firefighters in Rovinka Saves €70.000 Worth of Grain

Rovinka, 24 June (TASR) - The timely response of firefighters to the fire of an abandoned wreck of a passenger car in a field in the village of Rovinka (Bratislava region) on Monday (23 June) managed to save the grain harvest on an area of approximately 70 hectares, preventing damage amounting to approximately €70,000, the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) in Trnava posted on a social network on Tuesday. The abandoned wreckage of the passenger vehicle caught fire after 8 p.m. on Monday. "Until the arrival of firefighters from Samorin [Trnava region], members of the Rovinka Voluntary Fire Brigade managed to put out the fire," added the firefighters. am/mcs
