Drucker Considers Attack in Roznava School to Be Extremely Reprehensible

Bratislava, 23 June (TASR) - Education Minister Tomas Drucker (Voice-SD) considers the attack by a man against a woman on the grounds of a school in Roznava (Kosice region) to be extremely reprehensible, the ministry's communications department told TASR on Monday. The minister stated that the act happened in a place that is supposed to be, above all, a symbol of safety and trust for children and their families. "On behalf of the whole Education Ministry, I express my sincere condolences to the bereaved as well as my support to the pupils and staff of the school who have been affected by this tragedy. We're ready to provide psychological help and support to the school and the founder to cope with the consequences of this difficult situation," said Drucker. On Monday afternoon, a tragic incident occurred on the grounds of the Evangelical Primary School in Roznava, in which a woman lost her life. A man stabbed her in the abdomen and chest with a knife. Police are investigating the incident and have arrested the perpetrator. am
