Air Rescuers Transport 20-Year-Old Driver from D1 Highway Accident to Hospital

Bratislava, 23 June (TASR) - A traffic accident on the D1 highway near Blatne (Bratislava region), heading towards Bratislava, required the intervention of air rescue teams, who transported a seriously injured 20-year-old driver with chest and cervical spine injuries to Bratislava, the helicopter emergency medical service stated on social media on Monday. „After treatment and provision of emergency care, the patient was transferred onto the helicopter and transported by air in a stabilised condition to the central admission of the University Hospital Bratislava – Ruzinov,“ the air rescuers stated. Monday’s traffic accident on the D1 highway near the Senec East exit towards Bratislava has been cleared. lin/mcs
