Pellegrini Meets Slovenian President Pirc Musar in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 19 June (TASR-correspondent) - President Peter Pellegrini met Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar in Ljubljana on Thursday.
The meeting took place at Villa Podroznik, where they also had a joint working lunch.
Pellegrini is also scheduled to hold talks with National Assembly Vice-president Meira Hot and Premier Robert Golob during his visit. The Slovenian premier will welcome Pellegrini at the Presidential Palace. Security issues and preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in the Hague will be high on the agenda of the talks. In the afternoon, the president will visit the seaport of Luka Koper where he will familiarise himself with its activities.
The Slovak president's visit to Slovenia will continue on Friday (20 June). He is accompanied on his working trip by a group of Slovak entrepreneurs who cooperate with the port of Koper or are considering such cooperation.
Pellegrini last visited Slovenia as Vice-premier for Investments in March 2018. He last met the Slovenian president in the Slovenian Olympic House during the Summer Olympics in Paris last year. Pirc Musar paid an official visit to Slovakia in 2023 when she met Pellegrini as then House chair.
