Bratislava, 19 June (TASR) - President Peter Pellegrini left for a two-day working visit to Slovenia on Thursday morning, TASR has learnt from the President Office's communications department. The aim of the trip is to develop and promote bilateral and economic relations. The head of state will discuss current foreign policy, transatlantic relations and energy security with Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar. "The working trip of the head of state fits in thematically with the context of the president's visits to the Western Balkan countries, which Slovakia and Slovenia support in their integration into the European Union," said the office. Pellegrini will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Ministry State Secretary Rastislav Chovanec. The delegation will also include a group of Slovak entrepreneurs who cooperate with the port of Koper. Pellegrini is also scheduled to hold talks with National Assembly Vice-president Meira Hot and Premier Robert Golob. At the end of the visit, he will meet compatriots and friends of Slovakia at the embassy in Ljubljana. ko
