President Receives STVR Director to Discuss Situation in Television and Radio

Bratislava, 18 June (TASR) - President Peter Pellegrini received general director of public-service Slovak Television and Radio (STVR) Martina Flasikova at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday. Flasikova said after the meeting that they discussed the situation in STVR. "We talked about television as such, about the programmes, about the setting. We talked about the news and that we'll expand and strengthen the news, and about direction, that we have to focus on positive programmes," said Flasikova, adding that they also debated the radio. am
