MPs Put Election of House Vice-chair on Agenda of Current Session

včera 19:59
Bratislava, 17 June (TASR) - MPs will elect a parliamentary vice-chair at the current session, as the plenum has approved Zuzana Mesterova's (Progressive Slovakia/PS) proposal to include this item on the agenda. The opposition PS party has already announced that it will nominate head of its caucus Martin Dubeci for the post. The opposition traditionally holds one post of House vice-chair. The post has been vacant since MPs dismissed PS leader Michal Simecka from it in September 2024. He's decided not to run again. Dubeci says that he has support in the opposition. am/df
