Bratislava, 16 June (TASR) - The first Slovak nationals, along with citizens of other countries evacuated from the crisis area of the Middle East, will arrive in Slovakia on Monday, the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry has informed TASR. The logistics are being organised by the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry in cooperation with the Defence and Interior Ministries. "The first flight should land at Bratislava airport this evening," the Foreign Affairs Ministry has confirmed for TASR. Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Voice-SD) informed the media on Monday that one of the two evacuation flights will arrive from Amman (Jordan) at Bratislava airport at about 6 p.m. on Monday. There should be 91 people on board. On Tuesday (17 June), a plane carrying roughly the same number of people will arrive in Bratislava from Cyprus. "Since the conflict between Iran and Israel is relatively intense, we've made use of our state-run aircraft. The Interior Ministry's squadron, along with the Defence Ministry's aircraft, are carrying out evacuation flights at the moment," specified Sutaj Estok. The Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed for TASR on Sunday (15 June) that it is in touch with all Slovak nationals in the Middle East registered with the ministry's voluntary registration system and is guiding them on further steps. It pointed out that the security situation in the region is rapidly changing and that its priority is to ensure that the health and lives of Slovak citizens are protected. It is working on this actively, it added. ko/df
