AgriMinistry: Ban on Moving Susceptible Animals from Hungary to Slovakia Lifted

Bratislava, 9 June (TASR) - The ban on moving animals that are susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease from a restricted zone in Hungary to Slovak territory has been lifted as of Monday, the Slovak Agriculture Ministry has announced in reaction to the current situation regarding foot-and-mouth disease. The terms for moving animals within and outside Slovakia have also been adjusted as of the same date. A serological blood test is now required only when moving animals from one farm to another, added the ministry. ko/df
