Foreign Ministry Praises Slovak-Spanish Relations

Bratislava, 5 June (TASR) - Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) praised the work of Spanish Ambassador to Slovakia Lorea Arribalzaga Ceballos, ministry's communications department told TASR on Thursday, adding that on the occasion of the forthcoming end of her diplomatic mission, he presented her on Wednesday (4 June) with the Gold Commemorative Medal of the Slovak Foreign Minister for her significant contribution to the development of Slovak-Spanish relations. "Relations between Slovakia and Spain are at a very good level. This was also confirmed by my working visit to Madrid earlier this week, where I held talks with my Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares Bueno. We agree on a number of international issues, we are reviving and strengthening our cooperation, which will beneficial to both our countries," said the head of Slovak diplomacy. In this context, he appreciated the personal commitment and active approach of Spanish Ambassador Ceballos. "I thank the ambassador for her contribution to the development of the dialogue between the Slovak Republic and the Kingdom of Spain and wish her every success in her future endeavours," said Blanar. am
