Premier: Next Away-from-home Session to Be Held in Puchov in Early July

Pecovska Nova Ves, 4 June (TASR) - The government will hold its next away-from-home session in Puchov (Zilina region) in early July, Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) announced following the same kind of meeting in Pecovska Nova Ves in the district of Sabinov (Presov region) on Wednesday. The premier confirmed the government's interest in maintaining the current frequency of away-from-home sessions. "No other government has visited the regions at this pace, we are even surpassing our own pace from previous years," said Fico, who sees a well-set system behind the away-from-home sessions and their targeted nature. "Thanks to the system we already know what we'll deal with on 2 July, when Puchov is scheduled," stated Fico, adding that a respective draft resolution is already being prepared. The cabinet dealt with an analysis of the social and economic situation in the districts of Sabinov and Presov on Wednesday. It passed a resolution on the provision of over €2.5 million in financial aid for projects of local governments and other organisations in the two districts. "All towns and villages in both districts have received financial aid regardless of the political affiliation of their mayors," stressed Fico. ko/df
