Prosecutor's Office to Act in Case of Doctor Working under Influence of Drugs

Bratislava, June 3 (TASR) - The prosecutor's office will take action in the case of a doctor from the University Hospital in Bratislava who allegedly worked under the influence of drugs, Gabriela Kovacova from the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Bratislava told TASR on Tuesday, noting that the police had earlier classified the incident as a misdemeanour. "Having examined the motions of the person that announced what happened as well as the director of University Hospital Bratislava, it was found that there's a need to initiate a criminal prosecution regarding the matter and to properly establish the facts to the extent necessary for a decision. The regional prosecutor in Bratislava decided that the case will be further handled by a prosecutor from the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Bratislava," said Kovacova. am/df
