Fico Leaves for Italy, Will Meet Premier Meloni

Bratislava/Rome, 3 June (TASR) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) left for an official visit to Italy on Tuesday, where he's scheduled to meet Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni, the Government Office's press department has informed TASR. "They will hold talks on the development of bilateral relations between Slovakia and Italy, as well as the possibility of further cooperation in the field of energy. Current issues related to the European Union are on the agenda of the talks as well," said the Government Office. The delegation also includes Defence Minister Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD), Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD) and Foreign Affairs Ministry State Secretary Marek Estok. ko/df
