Votes-SD Will Support Amendment to Constitution That Should Enshrine Two Genders

Bratislava, 1 June (TASR) - The Voice-SD party will support an amendment to the Slovak Constitution to enshrine the existence of two genders but it also wants equal pay for men and women to be enshrined in the Constitution, TASR was told by Voice-SD spokeswoman Michaela Eliasova on Sunday. "We clearly say: if we put a sentence on the genders in the Constitution, then men and women must be paid equally on the pay slip. It doesn't help any woman to have 'man and woman' written in the Constitution if she is paid 15-20 percent less than her male counterpart," stated the party. am
