Bratislava, May 28 (TASR) - The Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) has partly acquitted judge Juraj K. [name abbreviated due to legal reasons] of disciplinary charges. The court found him guilty in connection with his statement about the 'raised finger'. However, it hasn't imposed a sentence on him. Judge Juraj K. faced disciplinary charges for, among other things, knowingly violating the duty of a judge to rule impartially and without bias. The disciplinary motion against the judge was filed by Justice Minister Boris Susko (Smer-SD), who proposed his dismissal as a judge. Juraj K. has stated that he's innocent and considers himself to be a victim. The disciplinary motion concerned a total of three actions as of 2022, which are related to Juraj K.'s decision to remand lawyer Marek Para in custody before the decision on Para's complaint against Juraj K.'s non-exclusion from performing criminal proceedings in his case, and also to Juraj K.'s publicly available statement related to Para's criminal case. ko
