Prague, 24 May (TASR-correspondent) - The attitude of Czechs towards Slovakia has significantly worsened, according to a STEM survey carried out between 8-17 April 2025 on a sample of 1,031 respondents aged 18 years and older.

Bratislava, 24 May (TASR) - Junior coalition Slovak National Party (SNS) believes that Slovakia has the right to demand financial compensation from Ukraine. It therefore calls on Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) to initiate the European Union's (EU) proceedings regarding the share in Ukraine's mineral wealth at the next meeting of the European Council, SNS spokesperson Zuzana Skopcova informed TASR on Saturday.

Bratislava, 24 May (TASR) - Slovakia isn't considering withdrawing from the World Health Organization (WHO), Labour Minister Erik Tomas (Voice-SD) said on STVR's politics programme 'Sobotne dialogy' (Saturday Dialogues) in reaction to the statement by US Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who's called on other countries to follow the suit of the USA and withdraw from the WHO. Opposition MP Irena Bihariova (Progressive Slovakia/PS), also on the show, called Slovakia's abstention from voting on the pandemic agreement shameful.
