Bratislava, 23 May (TASR) - The coalition council has agreed on the course of the parliamentary session that is due to begin next week, stated Slovak National Party (SNS) chairman Andrej Danko after a meeting of the council on Friday, stressing that he'll do everything he can to ensure that the transaction tax is scrapped. "I want to appreciate the approach of the coalition partners, and I believe that we'll resolve all the problems, including the transaction tax," stated Danko, adding that he wants to meet Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD) on Monday (26 May) and explain "all the anomalies of the transaction tax". "I think it is 98 percent agreed that Parliament should run smoothly and that we'll agree on compromises," said the SNS chief. According to Danko, the coalition council also agreed that the leaders will meet again to clarify their positions in connection with a vote on the rejection of anti-Russian sanctions. Investment Minister Samuel Migal (Independent) said that the coalition council meeting was held in a calm atmosphere. "The basic things that will be discussed at the next [parliamentary] session were discussed, and the session should therefore be peaceful," he stated. am/df
