Kotlar: Voice-SD Questioning Smer-SD and SNS to Stop Declining Poll Support (2)

Bratislava, 23 May (TASR) - The Voice-SD party via the remarks of its representatives is questioning the work of both Smer-SD and the Slovak National Party (SNS), said Government Proxy for Investigating COVID-19 Pandemic Management Peter Kotlar, pointing to the party's criticism of his COVID-19 vaccines review and its objections to the intention not to support the pandemic agreement. At the press conference, Kotlar played recorded statements by Interior Minister and Voice-SD party leader Matus Sutaj Estok and President Peter Pellegrini. "Why hasn't the president called me even once to ask me to inform him of what I know?" asked Kotlar, adding that he sees the statements as an attempt to salvage Voice-SD's declining poll numbers. He believes that the work of Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (an SNS nominee) is also being questioned for the same reason. Kotlar reiterated his concerns about the health risks of mRNA vaccines, claiming they are supported by daily calls from vaccinated individuals. He expressed his determination to continue his work. "No one will stop me," he stated, adding that he plans to present his findings weekly, even if he's no longer serving as the government proxy. "I don't need to go to government meetings, I don't enjoy them, and they don't even make me coffee," he remarked. Kotlar once again referred to a forensic expert report that allegedly points to an extremely high level of DNA in the vaccines and the presence of substances not listed in the package insert. He also dismissed criticism from scientists. In response to repeated calls from ministers from Voice-SD to present the results of his investigation into the management and allocation of resources during the pandemic, Kotlar said that he will submit the report. "But I also want to know what they've done at their respective ministries. On Monday, I'm sending them a letter with that very question. I already have it prepared," he stressed. Last week, Kotlar informed the media about the publication of an analysis of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, in which he's listed as a co-author alongside Sona Pekova and Richard M. Fleming. The analysis was published in the Herald Scholarly Open Access Journal of Angiology & Vascular Surgery. The Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), citing expert sources and regulatory agencies, has described the claims in the article as unsubstantiated. Academics also noted that the journal presents itself as scientific but lacks proper peer review, transparency and ethical standards. lin/df
