Bratislava, May 15 (TASR) - The government will hold an away-from-home session in the town of Handlova (Trencin region) one year after the assassination attempt on Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) on Thursday afternoon. The cabinet is scheduled to deal with a draft amendment to the Recovery and Resilience Plan submitted by Vice-premier for the Recovery Plan and a Knowledge-based Economy Peter Kmec (Voice-SD). According to the document, a revision of high-risk measures will free up some €451 million for alternative measures under the recovery plan. Investment Minister Samuel Migal (Independent) should familiarise his colleagues with the situation regarding the drawing of EU funds at his ministry. The cabinet is also set to discuss a framework agreement that will enable Czech and Slovak emergency teams to cooperate in the border area, i.e. in Bratislava, Trnava, Trencin and Zilina regions in Slovakia and in the South-Moravian, Zlin and Moravian-Silesian regions of the Czech Republic. In line with the agreement, a coordinated medical rescue service could be provided in the event of mass accidents or in the case of a person in a critical condition. Ministers are also expected to approve a proposal for the J. A. Reiman University Hospital in Presov be a direct beneficiary under the Recovery and Resilience Support Mechanism. An amount of €195 million should be allocated for constructing a new military hospital in Presov from the recovery plan, while the remaining €255 million should be financed from state coffers. ko/df
